#FoodFocus – The Amazing Avocado – Mixed Berry Smoothie

I love this Berry Smoothie!

In a blender, combine:
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
1/2 cup milk, your choice
1/2 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
1 small ripe avocado
1/4 cup apple juice
2 tsp ground flax seed
honey to taste

Blend, pour into a glass or Mason jar if you’re on the go, and enjoy! This recipe makes about 12 ounces, or one large glass.

I used a blend of frozen blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and sour cherries which gave it this gorgeous colour!
